Due to the wide scope of work that needs to be carried out during the first introductory structural inspection, our offer is divided into two stages.
Stage 1 covers the full verification of the airframe which allows for a precise measurement of performance of the entire structural inspection. The price of stage one is always constant and contains no hidden costs. The cost of Stage 1 includes the price of non-destructive testing. Stage 1 is concluded by an evaluation of Stage 2.The customer will receive a list of parts requiring replacement as well as a list of parts requiring repairs.
IN THE CASE OF CORROSION, REPAIRS MAY REVEAL ADDITIONAL FACTORS DISQUALIFYING THE PART FOR FURTHER REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE. THIS IS ALSO INCLUDED IN THE EVALUATION.
The customer will be informed of the time consumption of repairs and maintenance. Continuation of cooperation after the completion of Stage 1 is not mandatory. If Stage 1 happens to reveal defects unprofitable to remove or the owner of the aircraft decides not to continue repairs, it is possible for the owner of the aircraft to either remove his plane or sell it to our company.
Stage 1 covers:
- Checking the aircraft into maintenance
- Dismantling the necessary elements of the airframe
- Thorough washing of all elements
- Removal of paint in necessary areas
- Comprehensive verification of elements listed in the structural inspection
- NDT verification in areas where it is required
- Preparing a list of parts requiring replacement/repairs
- Precise estimate of Stage 2
Stage 2 covers:
This step is not mandatory. Before work commences, an advanced payment of 40% of the price estimated in Stage 1.
- New or renovated parts along with their installation
- Comprehensive assembly of the airframe
- Issuing a CRS allowing further use of the aircraft
