Commercial pilot licesnse

CPL(A)

CPL(A) authorizes the pilot to carry out commercial flights. The CPL(A) distance learning course comprises of 9 examination subjects and is divided into three modules. Each module has a home study phase followed by a classroom consolidation/revision course. The course may be started at any time and with any module.

Course of training

Training includes 100h of theory and a minimum of 30 flight hours. After the course, the candidate needs to take a theoretical state exam at the CAA followed by a practical exam with a CAA approved examiner.

Prerequisites

Candidates must hold a PPL(A) license and have at least 150 hours of overall flight time. Current and appropriate medical certificate class 1 is also required.
